India is in definite need of efficient quality of
Barley development process in order to produce excellent quality malt which in turn requires high quality Barley. Currently, India produces a low quality Barley at the moment. Barley that is produced in India is not up to the standards mandatory for producing high quality malt. The Barley produced in India has kernels of variable sizes and has a lot of moisture which lowers the quality of malt produced. Development in the field of Barley is very important and therefore, also has too many opportunities to explore.
