SABMiller India has a program in Rajasthan to promote Barley development

SABMiller India aims at promoting Barley development to ensure good quality of barley is used for production of beer.  For promotion of barley development, SABMiller initiated the Saanjhi Unnati project in Rajasthan in 2005. This was aimed at reducing the production cost of brewing and also production of better quality of barley.  This way farmers also get better prices for their barley since the yield is better and profitable for them.
